About NPT

Engineering that becomes equipment.

We design. We manufacture. We test. We follow through. NPT develops and produces rectifiers for direct-current systems, with in-house manufacturing in São Paulo.

New Power Team

NPT stands for New Power Team.

The brand grew out of the industrial experience accumulated in the operation that originated from EFACEC and was later consolidated within the POWER ecosystem. Growth in rectifier engineering and manufacturing led to the creation of a dedicated identity focused specifically on DC power supply systems.

Throughout this history, many units were manufactured and supplied under the POWER name. As NPT was consolidated as a specialized brand, new deliveries adopted the NPT identity.

Today, POWER and NPT are companies within the same economic group, controlled by MACH Capital. POWER focuses on substation automation, protection, control, supervision, retrofit, and engineering, while NPT focuses on industrial rectifiers and DC systems.

Our plant

Manufactured in the Ipiranga district, São Paulo

NPT designs and manufactures industrial rectifiers at its plant on Rua Agostinho Gomes, in the Ipiranga district of São Paulo. In-house manufacturing provides direct control over engineering, quality processes, and delivery schedules for CIB-family equipment.

Every rectifier leaving the plant undergoes functional testing before shipment, ensuring that the equipment reaches the customer ready for field commissioning.

Historical archive · NPT track record

The brand changed. The experience remained.

An important part of the rectifier line's history was built when this equipment was still associated with the POWER brand. The transition to the NPT brand represents specialization and consolidation of an operation dedicated to DC systems, not a break with that history.

How we work

Engineering principles

Focus on direct current

We design exclusively rectification systems — without spreading engineering and production across other product lines.

In-house manufacturing

Production at our Ipiranga plant in São Paulo, with direct control over engineering, quality, and delivery times.

End-to-end technical support

From project specification to after-sales, the customer is supported by the same technical team that manufactured the equipment.

Group

NPT is part of MACH Capital, the group that also controls POWER.

Both companies share a common technical origin in the Brazilian power sector but now have clearly specialized roles: POWER in substation automation, protection, control, supervision, and retrofit; NPT in industrial rectifiers and DC systems. They are sister companies within the MACH Capital group, with a connected technical history and distinct specializations.
