About CIB.S

The CIB.S is NPT’s industrial switched rectifier, designed to deliver stable and reliable direct current in systems that require high power density and energy efficiency.

The modular architecture allows combining multiple rectifier units and structuring redundant configurations according to the project’s requirements. In redundant architectures, the configuration can allow intervention on units without taking down the system’s entire capacity.

Technical highlights

  • Modular architecture with rectifier units (RUs) that can be combined according to the project
  • High efficiency with high-frequency switched technology
  • Microprocessor-based supervision with color display and local alarms
  • Rugged industrial enclosure for substation and plant environments

Redundant architectures can allow intervention on modules without taking down the system’s entire capacity, depending on the equipment’s configuration.

Architecture

Modularity that follows the requirement.

The CIB.S uses switched rectifier units that can be combined to meet different capacities and architectures. The modularity simplifies sizing and allows structuring redundant configurations according to the project’s requirements.

In configurations with multiple modules, current sharing (±5% between rectifier units) contributes to a balanced load distribution among the units.
